For those of you who haven't heard already, Talyse was discharged from the hospital last Thursday! She is still on complete bed rest, meaning she can get up to use the bathroom and get food that Jason has already prepared, but that's about it. She can also walk up the stairs at night and down in the morning so that she can sleep in her own bed!
The ultrasound last Thursday showed that the babies are still growing well. Our boy was estimated at 2 lb 11 oz, and our girl was estimated at 2 lb 6 oz. She is right on track for her age and he is several days ahead, so that's great news!
Talyse hit 28 weeks yesterday, which is a big milestone. Now we are shooting for 30, and after that, 32. We're continuing to pray that He prepares us and the babies for whenever they are ready to come out.
So far, the home monitoring is going pretty well and our next appointment is scheduled for December 19, so we'll know more then. We'll continue to add updates as we get them.
We apologize for the fact that we won't be able to get Christmas cards out this year, but next year's should be adorable! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season!
