Kyran and Karyssa watched their first of many Super Bowls last night. They have not picked their favorite teams yet, but since one of their favorite nurses is a Steelers fan, they were pretty happy with the outcome!
As of tonight, Kyran is up to 5 lb, 13 oz and is 18 1/4 inch long. Karyssa is 5 lb, 6.1 oz and still 17 inches long, which means she has doubled her weight since birth. They just keep growing and growing!
The doctor stopped Karyssa's Cafcit yesterday and she seems to be doing well still, so we're praying for her to continue doing well without it. Today, she will only be OG feeding twice, with the rest being bottle feeds or nursing. She is getting better at both every day! Kyran is still nursing and taking bottles like a champ!
Both babies are on a very low amount of oxygen, which means they are taking all of the steps to be ready to come home before too long! We are so excited for the day that they can come home, but we will definitely miss the nurses and doctors when we leave. It is so nice to know that they are being watched after, cared for and loved on 24 hours a day!
We can hardly believe they are six weeks old, but at the same time, we can't remember a time without them in our lives!
