Praise God! Kyran's hearin' is fine!!! He passed most of the frequencies and got a couple of "noisy" responses on each ear. The audiologist said that was most likely just from his breathing and that he shouldn't have any hearing loss! They are going to re-check him in 3 months, just to be sure, but she was very positive!
They both had eye appointments yesterday and those went well also.
Kyran has been on and off of his oxygen over the past week, needing it mostly when eating and in the car. We're hoping he is completely weaned off of it soon.
They both continue to be great babies with very different personalities. Karyssa is very laid back, until she gets hungry and then watch out! Kyran tends to be a little fussier, but they are both great sleepers and Mommy and Daddy have been getting more sleep at night than they thought was possible with twins!
Jason was sick this week, but it seems like Talyse and the babies are staying healthy, so that's great!
The daytime routine is getting a little easier and we are so thankful for the meals that have been brought by our awesome church family! That really makes life so much easier! Caring for these babies is wonderful, but time-consuming, and we are so blessed to have the support of our family and friends!
Each morning we wake up amazed that we love Kyran and Karyssa even more than we did the day before. It's hard to believe how blessed we are and how perfect life can be when you put it all in His hands!
