Fourth of July Weekend

We had such a fun weekend!  Tammy, Carey and Granddad Burkett came in town and we ate lots of food and set off some fireworks!  On Sunday, we also took the kids to Leapin' Lizards, and had so much fun!!!

But, eventually, she did play with the trains!

Monday, we had a relaxing day, and then headed to spend some time with friends on the lake!  I was very impressed with Karyssa's willingness to get in the water.  She has been a little afraid of the neighbor's pool this year, but I guess it really is because of the vacuum that stays in it.  She did great swimming with Daddy and Pastor John!  That night, we watched the fireworks that others on the lake set off, as well as a very impressive fireworks show by God.  Watching the lightning shoot across the sky over the lake was amazing!
