I'll start with a story from several months ago, when we received the save the date card for this wedding. I showed the kids the picture of my cousin, Bekah, and her fiance, Chad. I said, "Bekah is going to marry Chad, and that will make him her...?" I was looking for husband, but Kyran answered, "Prince!". He was absolutely right. Chad is Bekah's perfect match, and we couldn't be happier.
We also couldn't have had any more fun during the wedding weekend. Bekah and her mom and sister went above and beyond to plan an amazing time for everyone. The resort where we stayed was in a beautiful area of New Hampshire, with mountains and lakes and beautiful trees (unfortunately, the leaves weren't changing yet). The resort had everything we needed, and we received wedding guest bags upon check-in, complete with crayons and coloring books, snack foods, breakfast foods, and several other things.

The first night, Jason took our kids to the pool and Nathan stayed with his and Harmony's kids so that we could go and visit with family...some of whom we hadn't seen in years!
The next morning, they got married on a hilltop, under a chuppah built by Chad. The weather was perfect, the view was beautiful and the bride was breathtaking.
The ceremony was followed by six hours of eating and dancing, and then a pool and pizza party that evening!

The next day, we got up, said goodbye to everyone, and hit the road for our two-day trip back home.

We had such an amazing trip, and the kids were wonderful beyond belief. We spent 10 nights in five different places, and about 40 hours in the car. They were so well behaved and slept so well. We could never imagine better kids than Kyran and Karyssa! I can't wait for our next road trip!
