Hollywood Studios

We wrapped up our Disney trip with a visit to Hollywood Studios.

Since it was Saturday, we were able to meet my cousin, Bekah, and her son Max. They couldn't stay for very long, but we did get to ride the Toy Story ride with them.

I had tucked my glasses on my collar, and they flew off at some point. We waited until the cars came back around and, thank goodness, they were still in the car! The cast members gave us all an extra Fast Pass for our wait!

After that, the kids got to meet Princess Sofia!

Then, we headed to the Star Wars ride. Karyssa was a little uneasy about it, since she hadn't liked Flight of Passage, but went on it because she loves Star Wars and ended up loving it! She even went on it a second time with Jason!

While they rode it again, I took Gemma to meet Olaf!

Up next was the Tower of Terror! As with Flight of Passage, Karyssa was brave enough to ride it, but didn't like it enough to ride it a second time. She did love the spooky theme, though! Kyran loved it, of course! So, Kyran and Jason went back on it alone (Jason didn't like it very much either!)

After that, we split off from Jackie and the kids, because hers had already seen all of the shows that Gemma really wanted to see.

We saw The Little Mermaid, the Frozen Singalong, and Disney Jr. Live - This was Gemma's favorite, and Jason captured one of my favorite photos ever!

We ate lunch and ice cream, and walked around for a while before riding The Great American Movie Ride.

We really enjoyed that one (Kyran got to sit right next to the driver), and we're very glad we went, because they recently announced that they are shutting it down this year to make room for a new attraction.

Right before getting on that, we realized that Kyran left his Magic Band in the bathroom. Jason went back and checked, but it was gone, so we went to Guest Services and it was already there! The line for Guest Services was long and it started raining, so we headed over to some stores to look for souvenirs. Gemma found an Ariel pillow she liked and Karyssa fell in love with Baby Maleficent!

Kyran couldn't find anything he was crazy about, so decided to not spend money on something he didn't really want. (Jackie later went back and was able to get him a Pandora puzzle!)

Karyssa and I went to try to ride the Rockin' Roller Coaster, but it was closed for repairs and they didn't know when it would reopen.

After that, it was time for dinner, so we found a place to eat (while still raining), and then heard that what Karyssa had been looking forward to all week, Fantasmic, was cancelled because of lightning in the area. She was bummed, but still got to see a few villains!

Kyran and I took two of our Fast Passes and went to ride Tower of Terror again. I swear, this boy couldn't have smiled any bigger in any of these photos!

The rain was slowing as it was time to leave, so we sadly said goodbye to Disney, and headed back to our room.

The cleaning crew arranged Karyssa's and Gemma's things for us! (Another day, they made Gemma's pack 'n play and arranged all of her animals in it!)

Boy did the kids sleep hard that night!

Bummed to be packing up and leaving the next day.

We had such a wonderful trip and Gemma can't wait to go back! Who am I kidding, we're all ready to go back again!
