Perfect

Perfect.

For the third year in a row, that's the word we've heard at their yearly check-up.  Perfect.  How my kids went from a 3 lb, 4 oz preemie with a hole in his lung and a 2 lb, 11 oz preemie with a minor brain bleed, both of whom needed help to breathe, to perfect, can only be explained as a miracle from our Heavenly Father.

Here are their stats:

Kyran:
25 lb, 8 oz - 14th percentile!! (A huge change from the 4th percent a year ago!)
35 inches - 21st percentile!! (first time ever on the charts for him in height!)
BP: 82/58

Karyssa:
27 lb, 4 oz - 17th percentile
36 inches - 25th percentile
BP: 76/52

Perfect.

They checked their blood pressure because preemies tend to have high blood pressure, but theirs was perfect!  Their growth curves are perfect!

Their social and cognitive development are perfect!  She listed several things that they should be doing by their next well check-up at 4 years old (this will be the first time we've gone a whole year between check-ups) and they are already doing half of the things on her list.

Perfect.

Speaking of perfect, their birthday and Christmas were both perfect this year, but more on that later!

Isn't that what I said in my letter to Santa that they asked me to write? Yes, I said,"Dear Santa, my grandtwins, Kyran and Karyssa, are perfect..." Love them and you!!! : )
