As of tonight, Kyran weighs 5 lb, 5.7 oz and Karyssa weighs 4 lb 13.8 oz! She'll be 5 pounds before we know it!
Yesterday, Karyssa was weaned down a little more on her high-flow cannula. She seems to be doing pretty well. Her next step will be back on the low-flow cannula, so we're praying that she does a little better on that when the time comes for it.
Their nurse today actually brought up the idea of Kyran going home when he is taking bottles or nursing consistently at all of his feeding times. He is down to one OG feeding per shift, so that won't be too long now! We're probably going to let them try to wean him off, or at least down on, his oxygen before we think about taking that big step, but it is exciting to know that's coming soon!
Praise God for all of our blessings and all of their progress!

That is terrific news! Hopefully, he will be off of the oxygen before you guys bring him home. However, if not I know you guys will be able to handle anything. Having Morgan Kate on oxygen at home has been the easiest thing!
Praying that things continue to go so well!
