Karyssa had a minor setback on Thursday night and was placed back on the high-flow nasal cannula. She has had a few episodes of apnea where her heartrate and oxygen saturation drop. Kyran had the same issues the first time he went down to the low-flow cannula, so we know it must be relatively normal. Please continue to pray for both babies, and especially for Karyssa with her apnea right now.
Kyran now weighs 4 lb, 14.9 oz! We can't believe he is almost 5 lbs!!! Karyssa hit the 4-and-a-half-pound mark last night, wieghing 4 lb, 8.3 oz!
Today, Kyran will alternate his OG feedings and bottle feedings, and is allowed to nurse at any bottle feeding! Karyssa is also doing very well on her bottle feeds. They are increasing her to three today and Talyse can nurse her for the first time!

Hey Talyse and Jason. Your babies are absolutely beautiful and they both look very healthy. You all make a beautiful family. Talyse- I hope you have a wonderful experience nursing Karissa for the first time today. I love you.
