Just want to give everyone a quick update on the progress made today.
Kyran took one bottle at Noon, nursed like a pro at 6 p.m. and will take another bottle at 3 a.m. He is now up to 4lb, 12.4 oz!
Tomorrow, they are taking him off his Cafcit, a medication used to help reduce apnea episodes. We are praying he does ok without this medicine.
Karyssa was weaned down to the low-flow cannula today and has been on about 50 ccs all day, which is great! She took two bottles today and both times was slow to start, but after a few minutes, she really gets the hang of it. She now weighs 4 lb 7.1 oz!
