This is another non-kid related post. I hope you'll forgive me! However, because Alison and Autumn are such huge parts of our life, November 1 was a huge day in our life.
Alison and Patrick were married, outdoors (with bare feet for Alison), in a short but very sweet ceremony. Despite a few little hiccups, the wedding was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better weather, either!
After the ceremony, there was a small reception at Alison's house, complete with hot dogs and delicious cake, which Kyran sank his fingers into before they could cut it. There wasn't too much damage, though. The kids had a blast playing together, and even had a "picnic" on the floor of the house.
Congratulations, Alison and Patrick (and Autumn)! We love you guys and wish you an eternity of happiness!
On another note, it was three years ago that I was admitted to the hospital and told that my 24-week babies would be arriving any day. Not only do we celebrate their birthday, but we celebrate every day between now and December 21 as their "Thank God It's Not Your Birthday"!
