We have more teeth! Karyssa's two bottom teeth are showing now, and they feel just as sharp as Kyran's!
I am truly amazed at how well they are doing with their teething! I've been looking forward to them getting teeth, but dreading the drooling, crying, teething stage for months. Well, there's not much drool and not much crying.
Occasionally they have been a little extra fussy recently, but they are still sleeping through the night very well. They seem to be happy with a pacifier, teething ring or, if nothing else works, teething tablets.
They are both so verbal and just love to babble and sing. Kyran's favorite letter is "B", and I think he's trying to say Bella, Bottle and Ball. Karyssa starts singing the second we get in the car and usually doesn't stop until she falls asleep or we get to our destination. She normally just sings "La la la", but it's eerie sometimes how well it goes with the music.
Because of their inclination to talk and sing, along with our fears about viruses this winter, we have decided that we will most likely not be bringing them to church with us anymore. This is a difficult decision, because Jason and I love going to church together, but for now, we will be alternating weeks.
We can't put them in the nursery until next spring or summer, so usually at least one of us has to leave the service with a crying or talking baby anyway. This will allow us to focus on the message a little better when it is our turn to attend. Also, now that they have outgrown their carriers, we will be holding them the entire time. This can be distracting for other churchgoers, and also seems to be an invitation for anyone to walk up and touch them.
On Friday evening, Jason was playing with the babies and Karyssa tried something new! I missed her actually pulling up onto it, but you can get the idea.
Kyran also had some fun with Bella!
On Friday, we also got to go visit GG (my grandmother, their great-grandmother). The babies had so much fun visiting with her and their great-aunt Nancy! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend...
And one of Bella...

Both videos are great but the one of Kyran and Belle had me laughing out loud! I love you all!
