The Burkett Bundle

This weekend was another great one, although it was very, very cold! 

Friday afternoon, I had an event with the Alumni Society of the Journalism school at USC, so we went to network and met up with an old friend.

This time, they did pretty well with Cocky.  They loved giving him high fives and "pounds" with their fists, but didn't like it when he got too close to their faces. 

Later that night, Aunt Tammy and Uncle Carey got to our house to spend the weekend.  Although they only see them about once a month, the kids not only recognize them immediately, but Kyran "sees" Tammy everywhere!  She is always a little red-head girl in one of their books, and the other day, she was Jessica Biel on a commercial.  They just love getting visits from their aunt and uncle, and their dog, Molly. 

On Saturday morning, we headed to a local church's bazaar.  It was very cold, so we put sweaters and hats on them.  Kyran didn't want a hat, but Karyssa seemed to love hers!  She wasn't so crazy about the baseball cap later in the day though.

 And one more of Kyran...just because he looks so grown up!
