No one came right out and said this to me before the last month (although they may have hinted, and I chose not to hear it), but usually preemie babies (especially white males) who have increased tone, don't walk until they're three. And here is my little big man, so, so close to where no one ever dreamed he'd be at this point!
On Saturday, we went to Charlotte, to have lunch from some of my old co-workers. Sara and her husband Chris, you may remember from a few posts last year, have 10 1/2 month old boy/girl twins, Rowen and Lane, Jenn has a 19-month-old daughter, Layla, Lisa's boys are Matthew (seven) and Jonathan (three), and our friend Malinda also joined us, for a total of 15 people!
For a while, these girls were some of my closest friends, and they are all amazing women! We have vowed to get together more often, so if you don't read about more reunions, you have my permission to yell at me.
Lunch was great, but since the kids were getting restless, and we weren't ready to leave, we headed to Chris and Sara's for some play time. You'll notice in the pictures how small my children look. They are currently wearing 12 or 18 month clothes. Layla, who is five months younger, is about that many inches taller, and wears 24-month clothes, and Rowen and Lane, who are 14 1/2 months younger are also wearing 12-month clothes!

Lisa left from the restaurant, but here are the other former Bobcats' employees with our kids!

Same crew, different picture!
You may remember the diaper cake my mom and I made for Chris and Sara right before their twins were born.
My friends Jenn (not the same Jenn from above) and Dan are having a baby boy this week, and we threw them a surprise shower last night. We made this diaper cake for them. We have so much fun doing these, so if any of my blog readers are ever in need of a diaper cake, and don't want to make it yourself, let me know!
