Golden Month-Day

Today is Kyran and Karyssa's "golden" month-day!  For those of you who have never heard of a "golden" birthday, it's the day that you turn your age on the numerical day of your birthday.  For instance, mine was when I turned 23 on June 23.  Today, Karyssa and Kyran are 21 months on the 21st! 

We celebrated today by going to the zoo!  With my sister!  That's right, Harmony and her family are in town.  We were also joined by Aunt Melissa and Uncle Jon, and Aunt Daphnee and Kahlan.  We had such a great time, but it was hot!!

After the zoo, we went to Chick-Fil-A for a late lunch, and Karyssa and Kyran played on the playground with their cousins.  After Chick-Fil-A, the kids and I met Grandmommy and Marley for a shopping trip at Wal-Mart.  What a fun, cousin-filled day!
