Instead, that was the day we spent our first night together as a family. Last year, on February 13, we roomed in with our babies, in preparation to take them home the next day. The night went very well, adding one more lucky Friday the 13th to our list!
One year ago today we woke up, did a lot of packing and brought our new sweethearts home with us for the first time!
Valentine's Day this year, and for years to come, will not only be about celebrating Jason's and my love for each other, but also the love that we share as a family.
Over the past few days, Kyran and Karyssa have been even more hungry than usual. I'm not sure if it's a growth spurt or just that they want more food because they are getting so big. Either way, they have such healthy appetites and so far have not met a food they don't like.
Yesterday, it seems like something clicked in Kyran. I went to take off his shirt, and he lifted his arms up to help. He also pushed his arms through the sleeves of the new shirt and was able to lift his arms and tip his head back to drink two sippy cups by himself (with the help of the back of the couch and a boppy for support)! He still has a lot of upper-body tightness, but it seems to be getting much better!
We got about six inches of snow here, which is more than we've gotten in a very, very long time. Most of it melted yesterday, but we did get a chance to take the babies out to play in it some. They weren't really sure what to make of it, but as always, just enjoyed being outside. We didn't really get any winter gear for the babies, since it rarely snows here, so when we sat them in the snow, we had to put them in their sleep sacks. They weren't happy about not being able to use their legs!

Just some absolutely gorgeous photos! Those last 2 photos are my favorite, so sweet!
I love the picture of your house at night with all of the snow! And I of course love the ones with K and K too! :)
