Kyran:
ThereThank you

Karyssa:
Put down (once, while wagging her finger at Kyran)
Good girl, BellaI think I am forgetting some, and with the exception of Kyran's "there" and "mine", these are only said in direct repetition of us, but the fact that they are starting to repeat two and three-word phrases just amazes me!
We've had such a busy week already! Monday night, we went to my niece Kahlan's birthday party at Pizza Hut. KK turned 3 on Monday, and upon hearing that we wouldn't be able to make her planned party the Saturday before, said "I don't want a birthday party if my twins can't be there." Wow! Also, when instructed to give the first piece of cake to the person she loved the most, she said, "my cousins." What an amazing, loving child!

We had lots of fun at dinner, and Karyssa and Kyran loved being passed around by all of their aunts, uncles and grandparents.

When we got home from dinner, Kyran had a spill on the stairs. Jason caught him before he actually fell, but he did hit his head on the plastic piece that the gate fits into. He cried at first, and when we put ice on it, but doesn't look like he's too upset in this picture.
This morning, we met their speech therapist, Sarah, at a local park. They had a blast playing in the sand, sliding down the slide and swinging on the swing set!

This afternoon, Sherri, Kyran's occupational therapist came, and Kyran demonstrated a 20-month skill, by pressing the small button of a certain toy with his thumb!!! I'm so proud of him!
Karyssa loves playing with Bella!
Finally, as hard as it is to believe, today marks the 30th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. Jason's not much of a Star Wars fan, but my family loved it! And since Luke and Princess Leia were twins, here's a special re-enactment of the movie, with ultra-cute stars! (I can't figure out how to resize this version, but if you want to watch the whole thing, click here.)

"Mine" is a dangerous word; now that he knows what it means you're probably going to hear it a lot!
