Wow...we've had a busy weekend already!

Friday night was "Uncle" Frith's birthday celebration, so we went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner and then back to the Frith's house for games.  Kyran and Karyssa LOVED the restaurant!  They, of course, loved the food, but even Kyran was distracted by everything else that was going on.  There were so many people in the restaurant, chefs starting fires and throwing shrimp, little girls whose shoes lit up and who flirted with Kyran, servers walking all around, and the most fun of all, Riley Frith, who will be 1 next month.  Kyran was so busy looking everywhere, that at one point he had turned himself all the way around and was straddling the high chair!

After dinner, the babies had a mini play date before bed time, and then got to have a slumber party, because we set up pack 'n plays for our kids in Riley's nursery.  Riley just loved having other babies to play with, and our babies loved having a third friend.  Kyran was also enthralled with the three little dogs that they have.  Bella weighs about 50 lbs, and Aunt Tammy's dog, Molly, weighs 80 lbs.  These are really the only dogs they had contact with before Friday night, but Kyran just loved having dogs that were his size! 

Yesterday, the weather was so beautiful that we decided to go to the zoo.  It was a little windy, but we had a lot of fun, and it was really the first time that they responded to the animals.  Karyssa even cried when we took her away from one of the big birds (probably the ugliest bird I'd ever seen, but she loved it).  They also loved the lemurs, flamingos (including their fight), goats, chickens, the llama and all of the different monkeys.

They have never had a problem adjusting to the time change, so I think they will be fine, although they did sleep until 9:30 this morning. 

Next Monday is their 15-month check-up, and we're hoping to hear news that RSV is gone and that it will soon be ok to start bringing the babies back to church and to play more around other children.  We're also excited to get updated weights and lengths. 

One hundred toys in the living room...but we prefer the table in the kitchen.
