Kyran and Karyssa are 13 months old today! Where has the time gone? This time last year, I would wake up twice each night to pump milk for the babies, and count down the days until we thought they were coming home. Each night I'd count backwards from March third, their due date, thinking that the day would never get here.
We had our first visit from their new early interventionist today. Erin will now be managing all of their physical therapy needs, as well as any occupational therapy or speech therapy that they may need. She will visit once a week and work with the babies on their development, as well as continually evaluating them for other needs that may arise.
While she was here today, Kyran and Karyssa both decided they wanted to show off. Karyssa was talking up a storm, and repeating all kinds of sounds. Kyran was army-crawling all around the living room, sitting himself up repeatedly and pulled himself up onto his tupperware container, over the top and down the other side, and then sat himself back up! They were waving and playing games well. They really seem to like Erin, and I'm looking forward to having her over each week.
