CHRISTMAS!!!!!

There's a happy feeling nothing in the world can buy...

I love Christmas. I always have. Christmas is, first and foremost, the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. To me, it also means time with family, watching people's eyes light up when you give them gifts they love, playing board games, eating delicious food and sending and receiving Christmas cards, many of them with pictures of very adorable children on them.

This year, there was something extra. This year, we celebrated with our babies at our house and at my grandmother's house. No NICU. No isolettes to reach through. We could hold our babies anytime we wanted to. We did think of, and say some prayers for, the families who were in the NICU this year, but we celebrated our family, together.

While the present unwrapping is a slow process with the babies, they did get some help from their cousins, Marley and Kahlan. They got toys, a ton of books and some adorable clothes. We have some spoiled children! They also got to sample a lot of good food.

At our house on Christmas morning were: the four of us, Grandmommy and Grandfather Krolewicz (my parents), Granddad Burkett, Aunt Tammy (Jason's sister) and Uncle Carey, Uncle Ben (my younger brother), Marley and Kahlan (Ben's daughters), and Uncle Jon (my older brother) and Aunt Melissa. It was a crowded house, but we had lots of fun.

The only thing that could have made this Christmas any better would have been for my sister (Aunt Harmony) and her family to have been there!

It'll be the perfect ending to the perfect day...

These wonderful things are the things we'll remember all through our lives!
